Something I maybe mentioned before is that I love books... Like LOVE books. Its sort of something I an use to escape reality for a little bit. I feel like I can just jump into a book and become the characters. I can relate and I can dream with them. Books and music are the only two things I have ever been able to do that with. This being said I have recently read a lot of books lately, like A LOT. So for the next few weeks I am going to be reviewing some of these books and letting you know what I think of them. So get ready for a lot of books! I hope you like reading... ;)

Quote of Day: October 16
“My philosophy is: It’s none of my business what people say of me, and think of me. I am what I am, and I do what I do. I expect nothing, and accept everything. And it makes life so much easier.” - Unknown
Just think about that next time you are self-conscious. You are you, and that's pretty damn special, because no one else can or will ever be you. People will always talk about you, no matter what, so don't worry. Just forget about. And I know that is easier said than done, but trust me once you can do it everything will just be so much easier.

Quote of the Day: October 8
"Every man's life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another." - Ernest Hemingway
Death on its own is pretty sad, but what can make death an even sadder thing is if you never truly lived. Live is all about exploration, love, adventure, knowledge, and so much more. Everyman must go through the journey of life, just make sure it's a journey you want to look back on. No matter how you go and how you lived, make sure your life is something you want written down in books and remembered for eternity.

Uncertainty.
If there is something I hate most in this world, it is uncertainty. "The fear of the unknown." It's like this anxiety and dread that we have to life with. And, debatably, at this moment in my life I am at the most uncertain point in my life. There is just so many unknowns ahead of me. College. Relationships. Health. Everything. Life is just this big unknown right now and I have to just get through.
To explain what I mean by uncertainty, just think of it like surfing. I know that may sound a little weird but just listen first. In surfing you have to find the perfect wave and manage to ride it with out falling, sort of like in life. In life we have to figure out the best path for ourselves and just try to get through life the best we can with as little complications as possible.
For me, the worst part of uncertainty is you can't really do anything about it, at least not the serious unknowns. The other day we had lock down at my school because a crazy man was running around with a gun, and all I could do was sit there and just wait it out. Half of us were freaking out and crying, while the other of us, mostly the introverts, where just internally trying to sort out everything. The half who were freaking out externally were really just causing the rest of us to freak out more. And that was uncertainty does, it just causes panic and chaos. And whether we express that outwardly or not is up to the person, but we can't deny that uncertainty does get to all of us. For me I panically internally. All I could think about was my best friend was in the two building down from me and I couldn't help her or protect if anything were to happen. And that kills me inside. I didn't know if she was okay, if she was even alive. All I wanted to do was run to her and make sure she was okay, but I wouldn't know until lock down was over. And that is was kills me about uncertainty, I might not known until it was too late. But to contradict that, that might be the good side to uncertainty, the not knowing. If I have an idea of how it might turn out I might just freak out more than if I have to wait it out. If I am completely clueless throughout all of it I might just be neutral and wait it out.
However you choice to feel about uncertainty or the "unknown," we all have to deal with it. So I guess what I am trying to say is... Uncertainty, bring it bitch. I'm ready for whatever you got coming.

Banksy.
I don't know if any of you have ever heard of Banksy but he's a really famous artist. Or as wikipedia defines it he "is a pseudonymous United Kingdom-based graffiti artist, political activist, film director, and painter." (Wikipedia is always so fancy.) :)
Anyway, I recently started following an account of twitter which, if I understand correctly, posts works of Banksy and similar artists. (*crosses fingers and prays to be correct*) And I have been loving what the account posts, so I thought I'd share my favorite four from them. Let me know in the comment below which one was your favorite of them all, or which ones you relate to most.

I have no words...
Its been three weeks (Oops.) I just want to formally apologize for being inactive for three weeks... I just sort of kept telling myself that I would post something or that I write something down and post it later, but it just sort of never happened. (I know I'm not the only one who has done this.) And then the more I kept pushing it off, the more I was nervous about writing again. I forgot what it was like to write and so when I went and sat down to write again I just kept doubting myself and what I was writing.
But now I am here and I am writing. (Yay!) And I promise that I will writing at least five more posts by the end of the month. So for the next week be prepared so a post basically everyday. *Let the pressure begin* Toodles!

The Power of the Internet
I have been having this issue of coming up with ideas for my blog lately, sort of like writers block. So instead of doing some productive with my day and pushing through this writers block, I've just sort of sat on my bed and scrolling through the internet. And then I got this idea. What if instead of using the internet as an escape, I use it for my work. To as you can probably tell from the title of this blog, today I will be talking about the internet and the ablitlies it can have.
The internet is this weird place where people have become famous and been discovered as these truly amazing and talented people, but it's also got this side where terrible things can happen. People can be cyber bullied or harassed, because the internet has this way of shielding us from seeing the immediate damage or affects we have. It's like a blind fold to the horrible things we can do to one another. The internet just holds this power and by using it we can obtain some of things power and use it in which every ways we liked.
The internet is just a crazy place to be. And the horrible things about the internet is it can become a trap and we don't even realize it. You post a photo of friends at a party and you think nothing of it. But by doing this one simple act you can ruin a friends chance into college or even their future. You may not even realize it but in the background of this photo there is a friend who is holding an alcoholic drink or smoking cigarettes. And at first this may only get them introuble with their parents, but it can snowball into something that can involve the police and get your friend into serious trouble. And biggest trap of the internet: anything posted on the internet can never be taken down. You can erase the photo from your Facebook or try to change how it appears to others. But the truth is someone can else go back and find that photo, or they can ignore the facts and what you say is true and just mini pulsate it into something else.
And the most bizarre thing about the internet is, even though it's this crazy place where these horrible things can happen. It's also an amazing place where people talents can be shown and they can find true happiness and success just by posting a video on youtube or creating artwork and posting it to Tumblr. Writers can express themselves freely on their blogs and communities can be build with the click of a button.
I don't really know where I was going with this, I just wanted everyone to be aware of how real the internet can be. It bigger than anyone could have imagined and you have to be careful with it. See you all next time.
Love Sara :)

Remember Me by Kathy J Parenteau
Now normally, as you guys know, I do "Quote of the Day" posts because I like to keep it short and easy. Sometimes if a writer writes something long and complex it can get bored or hard to focus on for the readers. But I'm going to hope you have a little faith and just bare with me, because today I'm going to give you a poem instead of a short quote.
I'd want for you to be proud of me and know I always tried,
when you hurt I did too, your tears I also cried.
I'd want you to be compassionate to never turn away,
from someone who might need a hug or encouragement one day.
I'd want you to know I'm sorry if I ever caused you pain,
I hope you'd learn from my mistakes and
forgive me just the same.
There are no second chances when God
says it's time to go,
we only have today to let our feelings show.
Remember this when you say your prayers and count your blessings tonight,
and treasure every precious moment God gives you in this life."

I got the idea for this while scrolling through some blogs. I ran across a few websites that had some amazing powtry and it gave me the inspiration to find some more poetry that you guys might enjoy. So this poem isn't mine, though I might do something in the future, but I do hope you enjoy this when you read it. Which out further ado, Remember me.
"If I were to leave this world today I'd want to be remembered it's true,
for going that extra mile just to show my love for you.I'd want for you to be proud of me and know I always tried,
when you hurt I did too, your tears I also cried.
I'd want you to be compassionate to never turn away,
from someone who might need a hug or encouragement one day.

"Personal Questions."
I got a request to do some more "personal" questions, such as relationships, sex, drugs, and alcohol. Here's several questions relating to those topics. I understand that some of these questions are very personal and do not set the best example for other people. If you feel you might be sensitive to some of these questions, please don't read on or take precaution.
1. Could you go the rest of your life without smoking another cigarette?
Yes. I have never smoked a cigarette, and never plan on doing it. I personally think it is very bad for your health. And that is not something I want to do to my body.
2. Could you go the rest of your life without drinking another sip of alcohol?
Yes. I feel like alcohol is something that is nice for people to have at parties, but when you're the right age and in small amounts.
3. Are you interested in anyone right now?
For me summer is never a good time to be interested in someone. I'm always using summer just for fun. Liking someone would just hold me down for the brief time we have before school starts.
4. Last three things you had to drink (alcoholic or not).
Lemonade, water... I can't think that far back.
5. Have you ever told anyone you love them, but not meant it.
Yes, unfortunately I have. I once had a serious relationship with a boy but towards the end I was just wasn't into it, but instead of breaking it off I just let it linger on..
6. Do you make wishes at 11:11?
I used to, but they never worked out.
7. Do you miss how things were six months ago?
I think everyone misses the way certain things were previously but I would never ask to go back. I'm here now and I can only change the way the future will be.
8. Have you ever slapped someone in the face?
Yes, once on accident. We were shooting something for a class video and I was supposed to fake slap someone but he didn't move fast enough and I actually slapped him...
11. Think of the last person who said I love you to you, do you think they meant it?
Yes, I hope so.
12. What were you doing at midnight last night?
Either walking home or in my home.
13. Have you ever regretted kissing someone?
I don't think so.
14. Were your last three kisses from the same person?
No.
15. Do you like red or white?
I don't really like wine in general.
16. Ever been introuble with the law for something?
Nope.
Hope you enjoyed this little insight to me.
Love, Sara :)

Quote of the Day: August 12
Today's quote is in memory of Robin Williams. I didn't post anything about him on any social media sites because I didn't know what to say. And a simple "RIP Robin Williams" didn't seem enough to truly capture the amazing man he was. He touched so many people, most who he never met. And that's incredible. I can only imagine relating to and touching that many people. He was an incredible human being and I sent my deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
"You'll have bad times, but it'll always wake you up to the good stuff you weren't paying attention to." -Robin Williams
I'll miss you genie...

Planes, Plans, and Procrastination.
Hello! It's seems like forever since I have writing something. And I apologize for my lack of consistency with my posts. Things have just been so crazy lately. It's seems like I have spent more time in airports and planes than I have in the actual locations I have visited. As I am writing this, I am currently in the back seat of a service car driving me to the airport. I thought that traveling would make the blog more fun. I would have more stories and adventures to tell you about. But now I see how much effort traveling back to back takes.
It just takes a lot of time to write a well thought out blog. And I would never want to just write something down so you could have a new post, especially if it wasn't that good. And also will all the traveling I've just gotten tired, and I get lazy. And when I get lazy nothing happens. So due to travel and just pure procrastination, I've decided that until I can get things under control I will only be doing thee posts a week. Also I will be bringing back Question Wednesday; which I still think needs a better name. So write me some questions and maybe they'll be in a new post.
And about the Spain posts. They are coming around, they just take some time because my computer is dead and I have no idea where the charger is. So for now everything is being done on my phone, which isn't the best option... But to hold you over until my Spain and Florida trips come out, here are some photos from both trips.

Quote of the Day: August 4
"Don't wipe your eyes, tears remind you you're alive." - Ed Sheeran
This quote is from one of Ed Sheerans latest songs off his new album. The song, "Even My Dad Does Sometimes," is a very emotional and deep song. It's touches on heavy subjects such as death, depression, life, and choosing when your life should end.
This quote especially is meaningful to me because it's a sort of reminder of the little things. When people become extremely depressed, death can seem like the best option. They forgot what it's like to live and to be alive. But sometimes all they need is a little reminder of what life is. And like this quote suggests, sometimes something as simile as a tear can remind you that you can feel and that you're alive. It's one of those little things that most people don't think about. To most of us tears are a representation of sadness or upsetting things. But it can also be happiness or relief. And even if it is sadness, that is still an emotion. And having emotions and feeling things might just get you through the next hour or even the next day.

Pushing the Limits.
One of the hardest things to know is when to stop. With certain things you never know when to stop, or where the limit is. I have recently felt like I am testing the limits and finding I've crossed the line. That, to me, has to be one of the most awkward and worst feelings to experience. You just look at the other person and you know there is nothing you can say to fix it. And there's no way to know if your crossing the line, until you've crossed it.
With some people there is no limit, they are fine with almost everything. And other people have no tolerance for anything. You are just confined to this small space.
The good thing is sometimes you can tell which people have low tolerance. They can give it away by what they wear or say. But with some people it's a gamble, and you don't always out your money in the right spot. You just have to guess and hope you're alright.

Quote of the Day: July 29
Today's quote I actually got from Tumblr, no surprise there. And I think what made this quote really jump out at me is that it's a really important but not said enough in the right words.
People often interpret this quote as "YOLO," but to me this quote means so much more. To me "YOLO" is just a saying kids use to excuse something stupid or adventurous. This quote is more meaningful. It's about life and your journey through it. It's about change and making the right decisions for your life. I think this is one of my favorite quotes that I've come across and I hope you like it too. If you have any ideas about what you think this quote means, leave it in the comments below, and I will see you next time.

Silent Speakers.
I am quite. Like really quite. So quite actually that sometimes people think I don't like them and that's why I don't talk, or they think I just cant talk. And I hate when that's happens. I've probably lost fiends because of my quiteness, just because I have nothing to say and we just awkwardly sit there in silence until one of us walls away. And I always thought I was alone in this. I just thought that's who I am, I just need to grow out of it. But then the other day I went on Tumblr and found this amazing post. And if there's anything I've learned from Tumblr, it's that you're never alone.
The post I found was this:
And when I found this it was like, " Holy crap. I'm not alone." It's one of the greatest feelings. And I think before I knew I wasn't alone because out of the other 7 billion people in this world there has to be atleast one other person who feels this way, but you always feel alone until you find that person. The statistics don't reassure you, the people do. Real people, who live and breathe just like you. And finding this was finding my real people. I know this is sort of a rant, but I've written this because I want other people to know, you're not alone. You may not have the silence problems I have, and I may not have what problems you have. But you're not alone, just like I'm not alone.
Hope you enjoyed this post. disclaimer. I'm currently at the eye doctors sorting out my vision, so if there are any typos, it's because I can't see right now.

Coming out of the "Blogger Closet."
When I first started this blog the only people who knew about it were me and my viewers. And over time I got more comfortable with my blog so I told my best friend. And then when I got to 200 views I told my parents. And along the way as more and more friends found out I become more and more comfortable with telling people. But then suddenly I realized this safe place I had created for myself had just sort of turned on me. I realized maybe I wasn't comfort with my friends knowing. Maybe they wouldn't understand. Especially the friends who don't know me well enough. I created this blog as an outlet for myself; a sort of safe heaven to express myself and whatever else I wanted to talk about. But now I'm afraid to post the latest blog to my twitter in fear that a friend will see it and judge it. And that's just crazy! I should be afraid or ashamed of this blog that I have created. I should be happy and fearless, but I'm not. At a time where I should be proud of what I was doing, I was hiding from it. Or better yet hiding it from me and my people.
I don't know if anyone else has something similar to this, but I have to imagine that somebody must have felt this way too. Especially people on YouTube. I can't imagine starting a YouTube channel. I just have to explain a blog. They have to explain sitting in their room in front of a camera and talking to themselves... But regardless of what you're doing, whether it be a sport, a project, a book, etc. people should be ashamed of it. It sort of reminds me of one of my favorite posts. "Fiat once it made you happy, never regret it." I have loved this blog and I have put a lot of time and effort into it. I shouldn't be anything but happy with it.
I guess what the whole point of this post is, is for you all to know and understand more of me. To get where I'm coming from and to hopefully find a way to relate to me. All I ever wanted from this blog is a way for me to express myself to the world and for people like you reading this now, to benefit from what I have to say. I never want there to be a day where it's a chore for me to write this and a bother for you to read it. If that day ever came I think I'd reconsider doing this blog and I'd hope you, the reader, would figure out a way to make it more fun for yourself. That's all for today. See you all next time!
P.S. Sorry for the irregularities with posting... Been working on a few logistics this week. I'll try to make it better next week.

Welcome Back.
Its been a crazy few weeks but I'm finally back. I had about 24 hours of traveling the other day and only sleep for about 5 hours after because of jet lag :(
But now that I'm home the schedule for my posts will be more regular (maybe). I have a trip to Florida (Key West), and then to California (San Diego). I will probably be doing three to four posts a week, so make sure you check in so you don't miss any. Also my Spanish posts will be coming out in the next few weeks and I will have a video for you all at the end.
Thanks it for now. See you tomorrow!

Shoe-holic
Shoes. Shoes are the make-up of the outfit. Without them the outfit is still beautiful, they just make it even prettier. Basically, I love shoes.
I can just imagine wearing them anywhere. (P.s. I got them at DSW on clearance so they might be hard to find.)
From the front they look like regular shoes but from the side...
And since I have a trip to Spain, I have a reason to buy more shoes! So I have bought three shoes that I'd love to show you!
First shoes are a sort of boot with a slight heel.
They are adorable and surprisingly comfy.
I can just imagine wearing them anywhere. (P.s. I got them at DSW on clearance so they might be hard to find.)
Second shoes, are Keds, and they are adorable as well.
They are sneakers with out being super serious sneakers.
And since they are black and white floral they look good with anything.
Last pair of shoes are sandals that I found at Marshalls with a little bit of a twist...
From the front they look like regular shoes but from the side...
They have little cut out parts. Super cute and super comfy. Sort of a little gap to let air through and so or don't sweat as much.
Hope you guys enjoy things like this. I'm so used to quote of the day, and sharing theovr posts that this is sort of a nice little change for me. And it would be even better if you liked it too! Let me know in the comments below, and I will see you next time!

Quote of the Day: July 7
"We can't all be Washingtons, but we can all be patriots." -Charles F. Browne
Since July 4th was just last week, I'm feeling a little patriotic! I found a quote that relates to patriotic-ness and has an actually meaningful message behind it, which can relate to more than just a countries and being patriot. To me this can also mean, just because we can't all be the leader or the one who started it all, doesn't mean we can't believe in the cause. If we all decided being in charge was most important nothing would ever be done.

June Favorites
Guys, June has come and gone, and I
feel like I did nothing. It's so crazy how things can just go by so fast and you never even realize! So like every month, let's look back and see what was the best of the month. Vamos!
feel like I did nothing. It's so crazy how things can just go by so fast and you never even realize! So like every month, let's look back and see what was the best of the month. Vamos!
(Disclaimer: I am writing this on my phone so there won't be links to things like normal. Sorry!)
Beauty:
For the beauty section of June favorites, I have picked a mouisterizer/toner/sunscreen. It is by Nars, and it is the Nars "Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen." At first I thought it was just a tinted moisturizer but it was a lovely surprise to find that it is also a sunscreen. For me that is fantastic because sometimes your face just feels piled with foundations and mouisterizer and just everything. But when things can be put together, that's less things I need to put on my face, and the lighter it feels.
Books:
Now for books... Technically this book hasn't come out yet but it was announced this week and I just can't wait. The book is "Girl Online" by Zoe Sugg. Now if you know me well, you know Zoe is my favorite Youtuber. She is just so easy to relate to. She goes through anxiety like I do, and she just gets people like me through it all. I don't know how she does it but she can just get you to forget your troubles for a few minutes and enjoy life. This book of hers is going to be a fiction book about a girl am who blogs online and all about. Her journey exploring the world and herself. Though it sounds a lot like her, she says it is not.
Movie:
The Fault in Out Stars. A.k.a. Perfection! The book was perfect, the movie was oerfect.just everything was perfect. I cried so hard I got a headache. Ansel Elgort was the perfect Gus, and Hazel Grace was played by the perfect Shailene Woodley. It just one of those movies that you have no words for, it's that good. And as a reader of the book I just want to say that it is not a let down. So anyone else who read it and is concerned it might not be good enough or live up to your expectations, don't worry. It will!
See you all next time with something new!
Love Sara :)
